Goal 1 – Beautification

1.Three Major Neighborhood Clean-Ups
          Spring Clean Up, SERVE Week, Fall Clean Up
2.Fundraiser for Shaffer Chapel Exterior
          Raised over $4,000

Goal 2 – Safety 
1.LifeStream Home Revitalization
          Over twenty homes received major improvements
2.Two Neighborhood Safety Walks
          One great one was on the afternoon of the first day of school
3.Partnership with BSU Nursing Program
          Brought an incredible number of talented volunteers into a variety of settings
4.Recruited Goal Leaders
          To take the goal to new heights in 2013

Goal 3 – Education
1.Parent Nights & Grandparent Conversations
          Three incredible and well-attended evening events organized by education partners in the neighborhood
2.Two Great Outreach Programs at Longfellow
          IREAD remediation and Back 2 School enrollment event, supported by local education partners
3.Adult Leadership Training Sessions
          Growing the next generation of local leadership
4.IU Health Partnership Programming
          Countless supports in the realm of education and health promotion from a tremendous community partner

Goal 4 – Employment
1.R.I.S.E. (Real Impact for Student Entrepreneurs)
          A great program for kids, with guest presenters and real-world applications
2.Jobs Posted Online Every Week
          A wide variety of employment opportunities
3.Work Skills Program for Work Ready Community
          These great online tools donated to Muncie Public Library Connection Corner
4.Employment Efforts for Former Felons
          WCC volunteers attended a seminar/discussion and we have posted resources online

Goal 5 – Pride
1.Creation of whitelycc.org Website
          Trying to make it better all the time!
2.Two Volunteer Appreciation Celebrations
          We wished we could have had more to celebrate all the time and energy people have given to WCC projects
3.Full Bus to the Geoffrey Canada Presentation
          The neighborhood was incredible well-represented at this amazing event in April
4.Weekly Open Houses
          Casual gatherings for neighbors to share thoughts, ideas, and concerns

Goal 6 – Resources
1.Reinstated 501(c)3 Non-Profit Status
          The long and trying process is finally over!
2.Great Grants from Ball Brothers Foundation, Star Press Charities, & Community Development
          Over $16,000 was granted for specific projects in 2012-2013
3.Grant Writing Training from Foundation Center
          Multiple WCC volunteers have received great instruction on how to find grant resources
4.Energize Indiana Fundraiser
          Every individual that signs up for free home check, brings $25 in for WCC

Goal 7 – Publicity 
1.Bi-Monthly Newsletters and a Brochure
          The newsletters continue to get more engaging and the brochure is beautiful
2.Neighbor Spotlights
          Newsletters highlighted community members and their activities and interests
3.Social Media Updates
          Posts average 1 every 3 days to Facebook & Twitter
4.Promotional Materials on Election Day
          Neighborhood voters were given a WCC reusable grocery bag and refrigerator magnet.
